Vancouver Youth Poetry Slam
I will be hosting the Vancouver Youth Poetry Slam on Monday Oct 25th. It's an event open to poets between the ages of 13-20 and it takes place at Cafe Deux Soleils on Commercial Drive. Besides the competition we will have a feature performance from Seattle's Ela Barton. Sign up at 7pm. Show at 8 o'clock.

Vancouver Poetry Slam IWPS Playoff
I have managed to qualify for Vancouver's Individual World Poetry Slam playoffs on Wednesday September 10th with a chance to go to Phoenix, Arizona in October on the line. Myself and 7 other poets will be competing down at Cafe Deux Soleils. Let's see what happens. Show at 8pm

Mashed Poetics is once again lucky enough to be participating at the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word. We will be performing the Tragically Hip album, "Up to Here." Our October Extravaganza happens Oct 24th at 7 Dining Lounge (formerly the Kozmik Zoo) at 53 West Broadway. We will be featuring the Tragically Hip's Up to Here album.
