After much speculation the rumours have become true as the Prophouse Cafe is closing it’s doors as a performance venue.  For the past few years the Prophouse has served as a wonderful venue for all sorts of East Van shows.  Whether it’s hosting poetry slams for Hullabaloo and Verses Festival or the Vancouver Fringe Festival or the Bluegrass jams or all sorts of eclectic music night the Prophouse was one of the places to be along Commercial Drive.  But now they are closing and Red Herring will be tearing the paint from the walls with their musical weirdness and I will be lucky enough to be opening for them and possibly even doing some stuff with them as they are improvisational wonders.

Plus it’s Halloween so feel free to wear a costume and bring out your dead for one last hip shaker at the Prophouse Cafe

The FINAL SHOW at the PropHouse Cafe will feature Red Herring on Halloween night.

It’s FREE to get in, and you don’t have to be in costume, just maybe wear a crazy hat or POLKA DOT UNDERWEAR.

Red Herring is going to put on a fabulous show, and it would be nice to see you there 🙂
