If you have been following this blog at all you will have noticed that most of the posts are with/about the podcast I co create with Brotus McFarlan of Sweater Vest fame. The podcast is an odd amalgamation of found sound poetry and randomness. We have fun doing it.

We also think it would be fun for people with video skills to start creating mash up video to accompany them. We assume there are people doing to video what we are doing with sound. We are hoping we can put the two mediums together.

So the idea is this. Listen to one of the 8 podcast so far (or pick one of the upcoming ones) and put a bunch of random video together to match the podcast. And I’m using the “match” in the loosest sense of the word. The video montage you create does not have to logically correspond to the audio at all. It’s probably better if it doesn’t. One thing though and that is make sure the video has no audio or you’ve muted the audio. The podcast is to be the soundtrack to your montage.

Once completed you can share the link with me and I’ll put it up on here with the corresponding podcast and people can watch and listen to them together. Let’s experiment and have fun.
